BlueOrbb is an online information tool that utilizes resources on the Internet to provide you with a wealth of information in a simple, easy-to-use software package.

This is the manual for BlueOrbb Personal 1.1c. It contains all the documentation you need to get the most of BlueOrbb. This manual is regularly updated and contains the following sections:

BlueOrbb is an online information tool therefore, before you can perform any lookups with BlueOrbb, you must first be connected to the Internet. Many features in BlueOrbb are constantly updating, such as the weather forecaster and stock quotes.

The BlueOrbb interface is simple to use and easy to understand. It consists of the following items:

Feature tabs
There are two rows of feature tabs at the top of the application. Each tab represents a feature of BlueOrbb. Clicking on a tab will bring up that feature.

Lookup box
This box is the heart of BlueOrbb. Basically, it's like a search box and what you want to find is typed here. Some features may have drop-down boxes beside the lookup box that specifies what type of queries you can type into the lookup box.

Result box
Once you've made a lookup, this large box is where the results of your query goes.

Lookup button
This button will perform the lookup based on what you've typed into the lookup box along with the choices specified in the drop-down boxes. This function of this button is equivalent to pressing Enter.

After clicking on this button, all elements for current feature will be disabled until the results are displayed. Although you cannot perform more than one lookup for the same feature; you may, however, during this wait time, choose another feature and perform another lookup simultaneously. The time it takes for you to lookup an item depends on how fast your Internet connection is and how busy the server is at that particular time. Sometimes, the server for certain features may be down and your lookup will not be completed.

Cancel button
When you click on the lookup button, it immediately turns into a cancel button. If a certain lookup takes too long or you notice that you've made a typing mistake in your lookup, you can abandon your lookup by clicking on Cancel. The result box will display whatever it has found up to that point.

Clear button
This will clear the result box and whatever is in the lookup box for the current feature.

Settings button
This will open the settings window where you can modify certain options to suit your own preferences.

Help button
This will open your default web browser to the BlueOrbb Support/Help website. In other words, what you are reading now.

About button
Brings up the about window which displays the version you're using and allows you to: check for updates to BlueOrbb, read the license agreement, see ordering info or activate your registration to unlock BlueOrbb.
