BlueOrbb Personal Manual v1.1c |
BlueOrbb Personal Manual v1.1c
BlueOrbb is an online information tool that utilizes resources on the Internet
to provide you with a wealth of information in a simple, easy-to-use software
package.
This is the manual for BlueOrbb Personal 1.1c. It contains all the
documentation you need to get the most of BlueOrbb. This manual is regularly
updated and contains the following sections:
|
|
The settings window allows you to configure certain options in BlueOrbb to
suit you personal preferences.
|
|
Default feature
Normally, BlurOrbb starts with the dictionary as the selected feature. With this
setting, you may choose any of BlueOrbb's features as the selected feature at
startup.
Location
Certain features are country or region specific. This setting allows certain
features to automatically adjust depending on where you live. Currently, phone
number lookup, currency exchange and stock quote lookup take advantage of this
feature.
History
With normal use, BlueOrbb saves all your lookups for convenience in their
respective drop-down boxes. You can clear this history by clicking on Clear
History or you can turn this feature off altogether by clicking on Turn Off.
|
|
Result box font
The result box is the box that the results are displayed in after you perform a
lookup. This option lets you choose how you want your result text to be
displayed.
Show BlueOrbb in
This lets you choose how you want your BlueOrbb to appear. Taskbar refers to the
bar where all running programs are and tray refers to the area on the taskbar
beside the clock.
Preferences
Use IE-style AutoComplete
AutoCompletes lookups if similar items appear in the history.
Remember last window position
This saves the main window's position on exit so that it will reappear in the
same location the next time it starts. If this is unchecked, it will
automatically center the window on the screen.
Load BlueOrbb at Windows startup
Since BlueOrbb is so useful and doesn't require any cpu resources while idle,
this saves you the time needed to load BlueOrbb when you need to perform a
lookup in a hurry.
